The fashion industry is brewing with releases of new spring/summer 2016 campaigns. Earlier this month Louis Vuitton announced Jaden Smith apart of their forthcoming campaign, and now Dior Homme is giving us a taste of fashion excellence with their cinematic release. Creative Director, Kris Van Assche, and Photographer, Willy Vanderperre have teamed up yet again to bringing out the “metamorphoses” of the Dior man.
Dior Homme just announced Oliver Sim, from the music group Jamie XX, will be one of there leading faces in the Spring/Summer 2016 campaign. The fashion corporation will also feature actor Alain-Fabien Delon, artist Rinus Van De Velde, and model Victor Nylander.
Dior Homme hallmarked a monochrome film for the Jamie XX’s track “Stranger In My Room,” which was shot by Willy Vanderperre, that depicts the men in their natural state of themselves. “it all felt quite complete and fitting. In the visuals we tried to get across the idea of a collection of contemporary artist’s garrets or a present day commune; a combination of the individual and the collective in a sense. There is an idea of isolated individuals and then a coming together as well — individual worlds making one Dior Homme world.” – Kris Van Assche
