WK : Philadelphia’s “Institute for Hip Hop Entrepreneurship”

A new program in Philadelphia kicked off back in November of 2016 geared strictly towards the entrepreneurship of Hip-Hop for ages 18-32 the school is called the “I”. The school features a 9 month program allowing students to participate in courses designed and taught by businesspeople, creative professionals, musicians, and technologists the classes only take place on the weekends and helps to prepare students with everything from writing business proposals to finding funding.

The goal of the program is not to find Americas next hit MC or Hip-Hop artist, the purpose of the program is to provide students with the skills and tools needed to take any dream or idea that they may have and turn it into a reality all courtesy of its founders Meegan Denenberg and Tayyib Smith.
