Jay Z’s New 10-Year Live Nation Deal Is Worth $200 Million

“I’ve turned into the Rolling Stones of hip-hop,” Jay Z told TIME Magazine back in 2008. Then he had just signed a ten-year $150 million deal with Live Nation which included touring and album advances. As of yesterday the Hip Hop mogul reaffirmed his partnership with the touring company for a $200 million deal that as of now only includes world wide touring.

In A Statement from yesterday Jay Z told Forbes Magazine,

“Live Nation and I entered unchartered territory in 2008, Over nine years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences. Michael Rapino is an industry visionary, and this renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation. For the next ten years, we will continue redefining the live event landscape.”

Be sure to stop back by as we follow where this partnership is headed. It safe to say most likley the moon.
